Dr Lam, Dr Wong, our guest doctor, Dr David Allen and our clinic nurses provided the annual free influenza vaccination to the elderly from Kreta Ayer. Most of them are on public assistance and live in one room flats in the surrounding area. We were assisted by nurses from Metta Medical Care, volunteers from Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (BTRTS) and Kreta Ayer Seniors Activity Centre (KASAC).

About 160 medical practitioners attended our 4th teaching seminar in 2018 entitled “ The Art & Science of Managing Infections”. The venue was at the Tower Ballroom, Shangri- La Hotel.
Almost 160 family physicians and other healthcare professionals (nurses and dentist) attended the third “Meet the Infectious Disease Specialists” Seminar of 2018 at the Ballroom, Regent Hotel. The seminar was titled “HIV Update 2018: Where Is The Finishing Line?”
On a sunny Saturday afternoon on 30/06/18, 27 of us (staff and their family members) were picked up by a luxurious coach bus to One Degree Fifteen at Sentosa for an outing to Singapore Southern Islands.
About 130 family physicians and Nurses from the Parkway Hospitals attended the “ Meet the Infectious Disease Specialists on VIV” at the Regent Hotel on May 12 2018.
212 family physicians and some Nurses from the Parkway Hospitals participated at our first 2018 teaching seminar entitled “ Vaccine Update: Strategy For Special Populations”.
Our ID Specialists, Dr Lam and Dr Wong had a CNY open house on 24th February afternoon.
Everyone at the IDS clinics finished their clinic work quickly to get to Shangri -La Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa by 12 noon on 25th January for the buffet lunch.
